Description

Senior Full-Stack Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented **Senior Full-Stack Designer** to lead the design of user-centered digital experiences from concept through production. This role is ideal for a designer who can think through the full product experience, from early user flows and wireframes to polished visual design, responsive layouts, interactive states, and design-ready specifications for engineering.

The Senior Full-Stack Designer will work closely with product leadership, developers, marketing, and business stakeholders to create digital interfaces that are attractive, intuitive, accessible, and conversion-focused. This position requires a strong understanding of how design decisions influence user adoption, platform usability, business goals, brand perception, and technical implementation.

The ideal candidate is comfortable designing web applications, dashboards, portals, marketing pages, and product interfaces. They should be able to translate business requirements into thoughtful digital experiences that are easy to use, visually polished, and practical for development teams to build.

Key Responsibilities

* Design user-centered interfaces for web applications, dashboards, portals, internal tools, customer-facing platforms, and marketing experiences.
* Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, mockups, prototypes, and polished production-ready designs.
* Develop and maintain design systems, UI component libraries, typography standards, spacing rules, color usage, interaction patterns, and reusable interface elements.
* Translate business requirements, product goals, user needs, and stakeholder feedback into clear and visually compelling digital experiences.
* Design responsive layouts that work effectively across desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes.
* Create thoughtful interactive states, including hover states, empty states, loading states, error messages, form validation, modal behavior, and navigation patterns.
* Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible, clearly documented, and implemented accurately.
* Prepare design-ready specifications, assets, annotations, and handoff materials for engineering teams.
* Review implemented screens and provide feedback to improve layout accuracy, interaction quality, usability, accessibility, and visual consistency.
* Improve existing product screens by identifying usability issues, design inconsistencies, friction points, and opportunities for better conversion or engagement.
* Support branding, marketing, and promotional design needs, including landing pages, visual assets, digital graphics, presentation materials, and campaign-related design work.
* Participate in product planning discussions and contribute ideas that improve the user experience, product strategy, and overall design direction.
* Balance visual design quality with usability, accessibility, performance, and practical implementation needs.
* Stay current with UX/UI best practices, design trends, accessibility standards, product design tools, and emerging digital experience patterns.

Qualifications

* Strong experience in UX/UI design, product design, web design, or digital interface design.
* Experience designing web applications, dashboards, portals, SaaS platforms, or similar digital products.
* Strong portfolio showing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, visual design systems, responsive layouts, and finished product screens.
* Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar platforms.
* Ability to create clean, organized, production-ready design files that are easy for developers to understand and use.
* Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, usability, visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, color systems, and interaction design.
* Ability to translate business objectives and product requirements into effective user experiences.
* Experience working with developers and understanding how design decisions affect technical implementation.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to manage multiple design priorities, respond to feedback, and move projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to creating polished, consistent, and user-friendly digital experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience designing for SaaS platforms, job platforms, business applications, analytics dashboards, or workflow-based tools.
* Familiarity with front-end development concepts, including HTML, CSS, responsive grids, component-based design, and UI frameworks.
* Experience building or maintaining a design system or component library.
* Understanding of conversion-focused design, landing page optimization, onboarding flows, and user engagement strategies.
* Experience supporting both product design and marketing design needs.
* Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG.
* Experience working in a startup, small business, or fast-moving product environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is both creative and practical. They can produce attractive, modern interfaces while also thinking deeply about usability, user behavior, business goals, and development requirements. They are comfortable moving from rough concepts to polished designs and can support the full design process from early strategy through implementation review.

This person should be able to work independently, collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders, and bring structure to complex product ideas. They should enjoy improving digital experiences, solving usability problems, creating consistent design systems, and helping turn business concepts into polished, functional products.

Work Environment

This is a collaborative role that may involve regular communication with product leaders, developers, marketers, and business stakeholders. The Senior Full-Stack Designer should be comfortable working in a remote or hybrid environment, participating in virtual meetings, sharing design work for feedback, and managing design deliverables across multiple projects.
