They should be comfortable editing content for social media, digital campaigns, product storytelling, brand content, paid media, and other marketing needs. This person should understand how video editing choices affect tone, viewer engagement, brand perception, and overall creative quality.

## Key Responsibilities

* Edit raw footage into compelling, polished video content for social media, digital campaigns, paid media, product storytelling, brand content, and other marketing channels.
* Perform color correction and color grading to ensure videos are visually cohesive, polished, and consistent with Thuma’s brand aesthetic.

* Review footage and select the strongest shots, sequences, and moments to support the story and creative objective.
* Maintain consistency in tone, visual style, color, pacing, typography, and motion across video deliverables.
* Work with producers and creative leads to manage project timelines, feedback rounds, revisions, approvals, and final delivery.
* Organize project files, footage, audio, graphics, exports, and archival materials in a clean and consistent manner.
* Troubleshoot technical issues related to footage, audio, file formats, color profiles, exports, and platform requirements.
* Stay current with video editing techniques, platform trends, social media formats, motion design practices, and industry tools.
* Contribute creative ideas that improve storytelling, visual quality, engagement, and overall brand expression.

* Strong color correction and color grading skills.
* Understanding of pacing, rhythm, storytelling, sound design, transitions, framing, and visual continuity.
